Stone Soup PDX

The Portland Internship Experience is a two-year-old initiative run by the University of Oregon. All applicants must go through 2 rounds of initial interviews, and then interview directly with their potential site placements.

After all of my interviews and offers, I decided to spend my summer with Stone Soup PDX, a nonprofit based in Old Town Portland. As a central part of their mission, Stone Soup offers a 6-week, hands-on culinary training program and employment resources to those facing adversity and barriers to employment.

At Stone Soup, I held the title of “Development and Communications Intern.” Here is an overview of the campaigns and work I completed during my 10-week-long internship.
